  The location was close to shopping areas and the hotel offered a discount at nearby restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. At the time of check in, the front desk offered to upgrade me to a king suite. It was affordably priced.

  The room was noisy. Noisy air conditioning unit and lots of outside traffic noise and sirens. The room felt unclean. Dirty carpet and a big old smudge across the mirror. The common areas were not very clean. The breakfast was very slim pickings and no one seemed to be restocking it. The front lobby entrance to the hotel was flanked with garbage cans that were overflowing. Ice from the ice machine tasted like dirt.

  I chose this location out of necessity, as I had to visit family nearby—my uncle is undergoing chemotherapy for lung cancer and unfortunately isn’t responding well. The booking was made quickly due to the urgency of the situation, and this place was only six minutes from their home. Unfortunately, my experience with the room was very disappointing. The space was extremely small and had a strong, unpleasant odor—something between rot and mold. There were numerous fungus flies throughout the room, which I had to look up to identify. I documented everything with photos, including the damaged areas of the room, to ensure there would be no issue in getting my deposit back. I did not feel safe during my stay, and I would absolutely not recommend this place—especially if you're traveling with children. Given the condition of the room and overall atmosphere, it was far from what I expected or needed during an already difficult time.
