  Our room had a balcony but it faced an ugly storage shed. There was water standing on the floor of the balcony. Some parts of the common area floors looked like they needed a good cleaning. There was a loud mechanical type noise constantly that made it hard to sleep until I turned the AC fan on constant. The breakfast foods didn't look appetizing so we went to a restaurant for breakfast.

  The freg ice maker never worked. I told the staff and no one came to the room to fix the problem. It was 90-102 temperatures in Texarkana, Texas. I had to go down to the lobby where there was a snack area for hotel guest. The hotel had a freezer with ice that guest could pick up. I even picked up ice from the reception area staff. The bathroom sink hot water level never was hot. It was barely warm water. I used the kitchenette sink for hotter water to wash my hands, wash my face and brush my teeth. The hotel staff could have moved me to different room but they didn't offer. These things should not happen to hotel guest.
