  The breakfast was not nearly as good as similar hotels in the area (I travel to Horseheads often)). The waffle-makers were dirty and the garbage can nearby was also dirty. On the first morning the garbage can near the front door was ao full it was overflowing. On the morning I went up rather late there were only single poached eggs available, not scrambled. Everything was screaming "not well done".

  The table surfaces were sticky everywhere in the room. It looked as though someone had attempted to paint them with inappropriate sealer. The tissue paper box was empty and the toilet paper could not have been cheaper.

  At the time of booking, guests are informed that a damage waiver will be required; however, the actual cost is not disclosed upfront. To receive check-in details, guests must either pay a non-refundable $160 damage waiver fee or provide a $500 deposit, refundable within 5–7 days after check-out. This information should be communicated during the booking process rather than just 1–2 days prior to arrival, especially since the free cancellation period has typically expired by that time.

  The location was perfect. It was a much quieter street than some and close to dog beach. It was nicely decorated and they provided all the necessary provisions for our stay, even colorful beach towels and Prime TV.

  I had no hot water in my room and when I told the staff all they said was, I’ll have maintenance look at it no sorry. No nothing. I had to shower and cold water. Also, we had a first floor next to where all their picnic tables in the back are and there were people drinking out there till 3-4 in the morning loudest can be and the people on top of us there was jumping all night long
