A really charming hotel, in a great location. Our room was a king and even though it was on the small side it functioned perfectly for us. A comfortable bed, bathroom and good size and a big shower. We had breakfast there, and also had ordered a couple of drinks from the bar which we took but up to our room 😁.

What a charming hotel! The decor is quirky and fun. My room wasn't huge, but it was well-appointed with king sized bed, desk, 2 chairs, dresser, and a big closet! The bathroom was roomy, with a tub--great water pressure and hot water. Everything was impeccably clean, and I appreciated daily housekeeping service. The location is great--plenty of cafes and restaurants and shopping, and an easy walk to jazz clubs and Wriglet Field. Trader Joe's is across the street for snacks and beverages.

FAQs about hotels in Chicago

Our Kind of Town

Standing proud beside Lake Michigan, Chicago is down-to-earth, friendly, and full of culture. It has outdoor art by famous artists including Chagall and Picasso, and there are some fascinating architectural works from the Art Institute of Chicago.

Home to blues and house music, Chicago has an eclectic music scene that reflects its spirit. The Windy City is also a pioneer in a variety of Americanized dishes from it's European immigrant roots like deep-dish pizza and the Chicago hot dog.

The world’s first skyscraper and Ferris wheel were erected in Chicago. The latter, on Navy Pier, is one of the Midwest’s most visited sights. Also famed is the ‘L’ transport system, whose raised trains circle The Loop, the main business district. Check out its skyline reflection in the shiny bean sculpture in huge Millennium Park.

Home of the Bulls and Bears, Chicago is a stronghold of sport and has teams playing baseball, basketball, American football and hockey, to name a few. If you get a chance, try to catch a game.

Chicago Midway and Chicago O’Hare Airport are both on the outskirts of this vast city, so make sure to leave enough time for travel from your Booking.com hotel, apartment or hostel. And all that jazz.

Absolutely amazing skyscrapers and architecture! Wow!

Absolutely amazing skyscrapers and architecture! Wow! A must is to take a boat trip on lake Michigan and the canals. Wendella tours offer a 1,5 hour trip with a great guide. Navy Pier and Milennium Park are nice places to see. The Shedd Aquarium was great! Riwer walk, it is very nice to walk along the canal and watch all the buildings. It is easy to just walk around in town. If you want to go more far away there are buses or the elevated train. Michigan avenue (The Magnificent Mile) is very nice with many shops and some restaurants. Good to know is that April is a really cold month and it is always windy. Thick clothes are needed. Try a deep dish pizza at restaurant Uno. But be prepared that it takes 45 minutes to do the pizza. The only thing that we didn't like is that Chicago is very expensive.

I took my 8 year old daughter for a birthday trip (instead of a party). We went to the Lincoln park zoo, the Shedd aquarium and the museum of science and industry. All three were super fun and she had a blast. Great city for families— easy to get around and so much to do.

Such a variety of attractions in such a relatively short distance from each other. Including the children's play area on corner of Millennium Park; Art Institute, Aquarium; Children's Museum, Lincoln Zoo, excellent lakeside trail; and a great breakfast place for kids at Egg Harbor Cafe. Somewhat dissatisfied with the Chicago eating facilities tendency to make us order by QR, without any human contact it seemed. Nando's chicken near the Park was atrocious. And I love Nando's chicken - in London, Johannesburg, Mbabane, Dundee etc! Certainly will put Chicago on our family visits to our home in Des Moines!

Wonderful hotel. Very clean room, good quality towels and bed linen, comfortable bed. The room is not big, but has all that I need. No carpet in room, that what I love. The staff are very friendly. The hotel located in 15 min walk from the downtown area ( Riverwalk, Millennium mile) or 8$ by the Uber. CTA Roosevelt station in 5 min walk from the hotel. It was very convenient for me to get to the Midway airport. Also I liked the breakfast at the hotel.

Excellent location right outside the Loop in downtown Chicago and a quick walk to the train. The room wasn't cheap but it was competitively priced for the area. Also, we saved a lot on transit because we could take the train where we needed to go. The room was big, clean, and surprisingly quiet. The bed was quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though we arrived later than expected due to a delayed flight.

Wonderful hotel. Chouldnt ask for a better location. My wife and I could walk to all the main spots downtown and a quick uber ride to neighborhoods. We stay on the city view side and it was beautiful view of downtown. The bar and lobby were a happening. Drinks, and food were expensive but was isn't in Chicago. Price wise was great, if your staying off season, I can't say in the summer. We would stay again for sure.
