London is a city for every age, there is always something to do or see, there are numerous free things to do, good if travelling on a budget. Getting around is very easy, the underground is easy to use and relatively cheap . I was there to visit Chelsea Flower Show, this was a wonderful experience. Not to be missed

I am from England and went to London with my Hubby 5 days, worth every penny. There are cheaper and very expensive places to eat. Very busy city people are always in a hurry. Use the tube, do not try to walk everywhere YOU CANT. The location I stayed in had a tube 5 mins away and boy did we use it. I visited specifically to go to the Chelsea Flower Show, hence my choice of hotel for ease of getting to the Chelsea Hospital grounds. I tagged on a couple of days for sightseeing and found it a perfect location for picking up London Transport links to get out and about. I was also able to take in a show with options nearby. Being a lone traveller, I felt safe and was happy to wander early evening taking in a lot of the sights. Throw in a tour bus and I was able to identify areas I’d like to explore when I get chance to visit London again.ShirleyUnited Kingdom

The kitchenette has all basic things to prepare simple meals (even salt and pepper were available) and the hotel provides you with a laundry room to use free of cost. Very nice area around the hotel with typical Victorian architecture and lots of small parks (although private ones). 5 min walk to Earl's Court underground, many eateries around it and 5 min to a very big supermarket: Sainsbury's. Totally recommended!

Next to Lyall, is a very nice restaurant with various food, not very expensive.
