We had planned to eat at Reuven's and that was why we booked near Baker Street. However it was temporarily closed. Read the reviews of any hotel you are thinking of booking. Our room was uncomfortably small. Bed took up 90 % of the room and the bathroom was a tight squeeze. And overpriced. The staff and people in shops and passersby were pleasant, kind and helpful, often going out of their way to help the traveller.

There is literally so much to do in London even for those on a shoestring budget you can never be bored. I found the lovely little Lebanese restaurant Soor in Edgware Road and ate a large chicken wrap for only £6 plus extra garlic dip with the pieces of garlic chopped small to give it a kick. Edgware Road is so central. You can go north south east or west very easily. And if the tube is too expensive there are plenty of buses with the bonus if the second journey is within an hour of the first you dont pay. Picnicking in Hyde Park is a good choice on a sunny day and there are plenty of free entry museums and galleries.

I managed to squeeze in what I had set out to do. Could have done with more time to do more. However, having my mobile phone stolen right before my eyes just 3 hours before I was due to take the rain to Edinburgh - that has put me in a very difficult situation since I have another 11 days in this country - without a phone, meaning no way to make contact with anyone. And I can't share photos cos they're all on the phone that was stolen.

Apartments are very nice (newly renovated, I assume), well taken care of and quite spacious by London's standards. The kitchenette has all basic things to prepare simple meals (even salt and pepper were available) and the hotel provides you with a laundry room to use free of cost. Very nice area around the hotel with typical Victorian architecture and lots of small parks (although private ones). 5 min walk to Earl's Court underground, many eateries around it and 5 min to a very big supermarket: Sainsbury's. Totally recommended!

Great choice for a short trip. Cozy and welcoming; very familiar atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the decoration. My sister and I stayed at Room 22. Not many hotels with twin beds! Great location, near to cafes and restaurants, but quiet at night. Close to Paddington station (final stop Heathrow Express). Easy to get to Central London: close to three Underground stations and bus stops. There are bigger, more expensive rooms for couples too.

The Staffs are truly nice which is rare in London. They are helpful and friendly. Feeling so welcome. Been to many hotels in London and this one is the best so far. Good wifi. Elevator. Is a hotel with few apartments. Clean and nice. The manager explain as everything we must know about the area and how to spend the time in our favor. We decide to park the car at hotel and walk to train station 5 min. There with the train is another 20 min to big Ben center of London. Is much comfortable then driving and search parking in middle of town. Next to Lyall, is a very nice restaurant with various food, not very expensive.

The location is perfect for exploring London - it's just north of Kensington Park. It's particularly perfect if you're traveling with a toddler, as we were, because of its proximity to the Diana Memorial Playground. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, and the staff is accommodating and helpful. We liked the hotel so much that we stayed there at both ends of our England vacation, for multiple nights.
