I spent three weeks at this hotel, and I can confidently say it's one of the best accommodations I've ever experienced! From the moment I checked in, the hospitality was exceptional. My room was impeccably clean, spacious, and flooded with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The delightful view from the window added an extra touch of charm, making it a perfect place to unwind. I particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen; all the necessary cooking utensils were readily available, allowing me to prepare meals with ease. One of the standout features was the smart TV, which provided fantastic entertainment options. Connecting to Netflix and YouTube was seamless, making evenings in my room enjoyable and relaxing. Additionally, the quality of the coffee provided in the room was outstanding—definitely a highlight of my mornings! Overall, my stay exceeded all expectations, and I can't recommend this hotel highly enough for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

One of the coolest hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was lovely and big, the staff were amazing and the breakfast was wonderful (lots of calories though 😄). Surprisingly, the hotel itself (rooms & lounge) was very quiet although the restaurant and bar were always hectic with lots of happy people🍺. Great stay overall!

This hotel is the best we have ever stayed in. the staff was super nice and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, it is a magnificent building inside and out and the immaculate spaces make you feel like it’s a dream come true. we also had afternoon tea here which is a must! food was of the best quality one can imagine as well as the service and the live music played by a harp player on a small balcony above the sitting room. The friendliness and professionalism of each and every staff member was very helpful. The room was cleaned and serviced twice a day, bed was so comfy you never want to leave it . We were thankfully given a room with a marvelous view to the old town but make sure to ask for it in advance. Definitely stay at this hotel as it is truly an experience to remember!

I really appreciate your attention to reducing the carbon footprint of a hotel -- I liked having glass glasses in the room, real cups, very little plastic or one-time use plastic. I love Fort William, the area with the Loch right in front is stunning. There are some great little pubs to eat and have a drink, and a good amount of restarunts to choose from. There are hotels to B and Bs to stay. It is small with a lot of tourists from all over the world. It is a good base to drive and see some great country side.

Amazing! A must see place full of history and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Didn’t want to leave. Stunning views from the top of Stirling Castle, Stirling Jail’s Observation Tower and the William Wallace Monument. Free shuttle bus every few minutes up to the monument and free to view from the outside. All historical attractions worth a visit for the view as well as the history. Stirling old town available to see on foot. Easy distance from restaurants and pubs too. Lots of nice restaurants to choose from. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Scotland. Allow 3-4 days and allow 2.5 hours for Stirling Castle.

Aviemore has a great buzz about it – a proper gateway to the Cairngorms with a strong tourist vibe that makes it feel lively year-round. The high street is packed with outdoor shops, from big names like Ellis Brigham and Tiso to smaller independents, so whether you’re after hiking boots, ski gear or a new waterproof, you’re well catered for. There’s also a good mix of cafés, pubs and restaurants, which keeps the place welcoming after a day outdoors. It’s the kind of town where you instantly feel in “holiday mode,” with a steady flow of visitors giving it energy without losing its Highland charm.
