I've stayed at this Days Inn a few times in conjunction with flights either to or from John Glenn International Airport. The hotel is near the airport and provides a complementary shuttle service each way. All of the staff members seem to be friendly.

Hotel location was perfect, minutes from all major attractions in Chicago downtown. 10 minute walk to Navy Pier. Beds were very comfortable Room was spacious for a downtown location and everything in the room worked well.

Room decor was ok, but could be upgraded to look upscale and modern. Parking by the hotel is expensive, $64/night and for multiple in/out privileges it was $69/night. Room service is alternate days, need to plan accordingly.

Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Just a thick foam mattress, lumpy. Condo was the hottest one we’ve stayed in. Even the fans didn’t help enough. The place was the dirtiest one we’ve stayed in, particularly the floors which were grimy, sticky and left our feet black. I sent requested pictures of different dirty areas, but no offer was made to make it better. The washer and dryer are difficult to access as they are in a closet with other equipment. The dryer also has an issue where clothes get caught in some part of the machine and are chewed up and stained. My sons’ swim trunks and shorts strings were chewed up. Towels and washcloths were ripped and or stained at the corners. I sent pictures and informed staff, but nothing was offered to make up for it.

Some of The outside patio furniture were broken and in bad shape. Our bedroom fan was not working missing remote control. Some of the lightbulbs were out.
