The property on the inside looks way better than the outside, the greenery is pretty, bar area is nice and modern. The bed was super comfortable, the hotel itself(hallways) were very quiet. Has a nice gym with some basic things. I normally don’t Ike waterfall showers but this one has nice pressure. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very great, breakfast style buffet, fancier than most places offer with yummy choices. Room was clean, and we enjoyed the pool being empty and very quiet, and nicely hot.

Dark windows when you arrive on the property. We were given one of the last rooms one the first floor, overlooking the street and cars leaving there. Hotel is kind of outdated, specially on the outside. The inside looks a bit more modern. Pool is outdated, but was clean, and so was the jacuzzi, but again outdated. Towels to the pool were kind of old and raggedy like. 30$ for parking? For this place? And our room was kind of expensive for what we got. No view, had to keep the windows closed the entire time or else the cars could see through or we could see them. Seems like an old property, that should have been half the price. We only picked this place because it had great reviews, the photos looked better than the actual place. Wall unit ac? , had it on high all night I had to sleep with out covers still or it be hot.

Nice lot of jungle with trees and a few buildings. Not many people in May. Nice if you like to meditate and stay low. Nearby is the beach and a few local markets. Within 15 minutes. Otherwise it is in the middle of nowhere. Looks like there are programs for volunteering, if you stay for a long time.

The trick to remember which might be important for some, is that none of the sleeping rooms has a bathroom attached. You always have to dress up and go to the kitchen to get to the bathroom. Bathrooms are open to jungle and it is also a twist.

The property was absolutely stunning. The happy hour at the Fox lounge was amazing. The grounds were very well cared for. The pool was so refreshing, after a day of exploring the desert. And the room was so comfortable and serine. It was actually the best part of our 2 days in Borrega Springs!

When we checked into this booking, we requested and confirmed an early arrival and check-in. When we arrived at 3 pm, they said my room was not ready. I came back at 6:30 pm, after an event we had scheduled, and when we got to our room to inspect it, we found that it was dirty. The bedding was damp and had bugs in it. We requested to change rooms and they stated that they did not have any. So, we requested they come clean the room. It had not been vacuumed, dusted, wiped down, bathroom was dirty with previous guest hair on toilet lid, walls, shower walls and the walls and fixtures were dirty. We left for dinner at their restaurant and returned 2 hrs later nd the room still had not been cleaned. They agreed to change our room and I requested the rate to be adjusted due to the downgrade the room would be from what I booked. I booked a pool view with balcony mini suite. The room I was moved to was a standard double. We requested blankets and they only brought one. We called and requested an additional blanket and they never brought it. We were told the adjusted rate would be $184 from $210.

The vent in the bathroom has a loose flap that makes annoying noise as it shuts and opens from the outside breeze. Heavy vehicles that pass on 101 shakes the building. Toilet has a slight wobble. Was unable to adjust desk chair to desired height
