The staff are very friendly and seem genuinely committed to helping guests have a good experience. Outside of the the issues we had with our room, the strat offers an enjoyable experience.

We had to change rooms after the first night. The first room had an air conditioner that rattled and made noise like it was dying and needed to be retired. This prevented any kind of good sleep and made talking on the phone difficult. Also, the mattress was also "dead" as well and needed to be replaced. After the first night, the hotel allowed us to change rooms. The second room was better every way, but the mattress was still worn out and past its end of life. So, while infinitely better, it was still subpar on account of the mattress. I've over my many years of travel, never experienced a hotel with worn-out mattresses like this, and have come to consider it a big deal in hospitality. I measured the noise in our first room with an app that call it as loud as construction.

The breakfast is always the best part of staying at best Western. The pool is always clean and very well maintained.

The location in which I stayed could have had a few more lamps. I would have switched the bedroom and the living room area, just because I don't want anyone to be able to see straight into where I am sleeping. Other than that it was super nice enjoyable stay for me and all three young men I had traveling with me.

The only problem I had was the bathroom floor was very dirty We stayed in a handicap room and with the open shower they have, some water got out on the floor and I wiped it up and the floor was filthy. Glad I wasn’t barefoot in the bathroom, or on the carpet.
