It was just semi ok. There was no curtain in the windows for privacy. It was cold in the room. Unable to close the vent and no extra blankets. Worse of all it's in the HOOD!! I t was 50 people outside smoking weed with babies and children running around. I had to ask people to get off the step coming in and going out. I would NEVER go back here or recommend this place to anyone. Not safe. I know this neighborhood. I thought it got better after I left 10 years ago. Just got worse

All the restaurants in the town close at 8 pm, and we were late arriving. I called ahead to let them know we would be a bit later than expected, and was anything open at that time. He said there was a general store that carried good frozen dinners, so we arrived just before they closed. We got a couple of frozen dinners, then checked in to the motel. I was then told (by the same young man who suggested I buy frozen dinners,) that none of the rooms had microwaves! He allowed me to borrow one from him, which I carried down to our room, cooked the dinners (they were tasty..) then carried back to the office. I also had to borrow a bottle opener. Unique.

It's the best lodging in Garberville. The room was clean and they finally got the pool opened again.

Severely overpriced, but options in Garberville are limited. Also, our second floor room was invaded by ants overnight. It took quite a while to get them out of our possessions. Unfortunately the woman at the front desk showed no interest or concern for this issue.

-Breakfast very average and was completely packed away at 9 am exactly, we couldn’t even refill coffee. -Shower was extremely narrow and had a very slippery sloped floor -Parking in the evening was impossible due to the number of busses and commercial trucks and vans that utilised the parking area overnight -In the morning we were woken by the noise of cleaning these vehicles with generators and power washers(see photos) -It’s disappointing that guests are not advised before booking that the parking area is rented out for commercial operations. -Main elevator near reception was still out of service(see previous reviews) -Layout(When you walk into the room you walk straight in to the bathroom sink area)

The cleanliness of my room was disappointing. There were stains on the curtains and bedding. There was also an odd smell in the corridor and room. The rooms are also a bit outdated now.
