  The property is a lovely old home, beautifully maintained and furnished, with comfortable beds. Location in downtown Bethel makes an easy stroll to the Mineral Museum, town museum, and several good dining options. Hosts are friendly and welcoming, and afternoon treats and breakfast are ample and delicious. The surrounding area is beautiful, with several fun antique shops nearby, a gorgeous pollinator garden, and ample opportunities for biking, swimming, and other outdoor recreation. There's plenty of parking in back of the building.

  We had no complaints with the B &B. The hosts were very gracious in accommodating any dietary needs/preferences, and very helpful with restaurant and other local recommendations. There were fans and window units available in each room, allowing for individual temperature control; and the wifi and cable worked great.

  We were not aware there would be stairs to the room. We would of liked a mini fridge in the room. Daily cleaning came late in the day . The tub was difficult to get into for a shower.

  Continental Breakfast is bad not even fruits. Only in the weekend they put some bananas. Bathroom has no exhaust fan . They lied on booking.com about the offer with “ One bottle of wine and safari games “ when you book a room . When we ask the front desk they say this offer was long time ago. So why is the offer still active on booking.com ? Because this is a “trap” to attract customers. Stay away !!! from La Quinta by Wyndham Mission at West McAllen in Texas
