      The property is unique and exceptional. The hot springs are unparalleled. They have added new pools and they are gorgeous. The breakfast is great. Rooms have been remodeled and are comfortable and beautiful. A walkway was added between the hotel and pool entrance. One of my favorite places in the world

      Bikes are not allowed in rooms. We had 2 bikes. They have bike room, which is just fine, but are inconsistent about how to access it. Some front desk staff are totally happy to help you. One lady said “no, don’t help them, call guest services and they can wait” even though there were 3 people at the desk and no one else waiting. That was my only bad experience. It made no sense.

      Your staff member Ann was very delightful, professional, and helpful during our breakfast meal. She made our meal time very comfortable and hospitable. I will definitely stay at that location again, due to her kindness and professionalism.

      The street to your location was closed off during late construction work. The street opened back up again in the morning. But I'm sure that's out of your hands.Other than that our stay there was perfect.

      There are big AC units outside the building. When you stay at lower floors, you hear a whinning noise which is disturbing at night.

      Average, my choice as it was close of UIC.

      If you want to have peaceful stay in HOLIDAY INN or Crowne Plaza, better to book through IHG not booking.com. Why? For anything or any adjustments, they will deal you 3rd party booking and behave impolitely. I had very bad conversation from Front Desk when she refused to listen to me and advised me to launch a complaint. As a member of IHG, I reported to them but no use, same voice round '3rd party booking' I think they are taking the advantage of their close location of UIC. Otherwise it is average choice to live.

      It was dirty everywhere. The lamp, the bed and the bathroom were all dirty. The pictures don’t match what you get at all. I was so tempted to leave and go to a different hotel but we arrived at 11pm and just literally did not have the energy.
