The pool was actually larger than I was anticipating and was the envy of our friends who staying elsewhere. Thoughtful items and provisions were provided that made it easy to settle in quickly. It is only a very short motorbike ride to the town, and if you’re looking for a bit of quiet, it was ideal. Georgio was very accommodating and made our stay one we would love to repeat. Would recommend to any couple or family.”

I came with my mom and brother and we stayed in a Japanese style room and opted for the public onsen, which we used at night after dinner. There were probably only 5-6 women in there at the time, not crowded or busy. I wasn't expecting much, but the dinner and breakfast buffet were a pleasant experience, especially since we didn't feel like going out of our way to find a good food place in Hakone. It's an absolutely beautiful hotel as well and the people helping us at the front desk offer great service and spoke English well, which made our experience so easy. As a budget traveler, I was a little nervous to spend $350 for a night here, but it was worth the money and experience. (And of course, everything was clean, functional, etc. Just assume the bare minimums are easily covered).”

The train to the airport and metro station are somewhat farther away--perhaps a 10 to 20 minute walk--but we walked to and from with our roller suitcases. The clothes washer and espresso machines came in handy so we left some extra laundry detergent and espresso pods for the next guests.”
