The house is adorable and the fenced yard is great when you have a dog. It's small, but has everything that you need. It's decorated very cute. The neighborhood is really nice and it's walking distance to Boulder Bay. The jacuzzi would have been nice, if it was working. The reason I'm giving it a poor review is because the Jacuzzi didn't work the entire time we were there and no one seems to care.

We stayed at “Bear Cozy Cabin Hotub/walk to lake” last month and booked it through Booking.com. The main problem was the jacuzzi was not working the whole time we were there. It was unplugged when we checked in and no one seemed to know why. We called the number to fix it, which connects you to Big Bear Vacations. They responded quickly and were trying to be helpful, but because of timing and having to get the right part, then 12-16 hours to heat up the jacuzzi, it took the whole time we were there to get it heated. We asked for some kind of compensation, but Big Bear Vacations, just handles maintenance and checking in and out, they told us to contact Booking.com for compensation for the jacuzzi not working. We spoke to them 2 or 3 times explaining the whole problem and starting over each time we called. We still have not heard back from booking.com, they just keep saying someone will get back to you, but no one ever does.This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but without the jacuzzi working it really put a damper on our trip, plus the extra time wasted on coordinating the repair and then waiting and waiting for the jacuzzi to heat up that finally did, but we were checking out when it finally heated up, so we never got us the jacuzzi. As I stated before, we asked for compensation, but Booking.com keeps saying they have to have a meeting about it and will get back to us, which they never do. I hope the owner reads this review, so they know the type of company that is representing them. I will never book with booking.com again. Update: We got a small compensation from Big Bear Vacations for the pet fee, because of the jacuzzi not working, but nothing from booking.com.

As other people mentioned the breakfast area is not big, but you were allowed to take it to your room and that was very kind. Personel was very friendly and attentive. We were able to park the car next to the extra exit which was very convenient with the luggage and coming/going. The motel has easy access to closeby roads and restaurants.

What we did not like about the room was the airco which was loud and located under the bench/couch next to the bed, it worked well though. The motel next to this one was a bit sketchy but if your room was on the other side you did not see/hear it. The ice cube maker was opposite our room wich was a bit loud when people were getting them.

Very nice and cozy house, we really liked how all the interior details were thought out and how pleasant it is. The house has everything for cooking. It is located in a very quiet and calm area of the city, next to a beautiful park. Ideal for walks and runners.

Two small minuses, very good audibility in the house and the absence of a washing machine. We came for several days and at that time we already had a long trip, a washing machine would have helped us a lot :)
