  not applicable... kitchenette was well-appointed. Location is minutes from stores, Saranac Lake center, Lake Placid, some within a short walk from what feels like a resort grounds shared with the tonier property across the drive ... and Tail O the Pup !

  Specific tiny things: add some hooks all over the bathroom for garments, et al... move the in-room sink light to just inside the wood frame or black tape obscure the garish lighting into the room, it really needs just downward lighting for the sink area... please ditch the eco-unfriendly Kcup unit or at least empty the reservoir water between guests; a better solution is the old standby 4-cup coffee maker with filters on hand, maybe some courtesy coffee packets for the first day, Aldi is a 5 minute stroll, after all, as well as McD's, and a marrywanna store... 24 hour advance entry info would be appreciated; sending that info on day-of travel may not be guest-friendly... more multiple outlet sockets would be nice, especially by window chair and bedside, as we are in the 21st Century device mode... supplemental live TV beyond the wonky RoKu would be nice, as keeping up with current live news is important in this age of a madman as chief executive... this lodging checks so many boxes, none of these would be deal-breakers... we would recommend staying here, greatest value in the High Peaks Region...

  The AC in the unit had broke prior to us checking in so they put a temporary AC in the bedroom window. The AC wasn’t secured AT ALL. It was falling out of the window you could see completely out and its right next to the bed so I did NOT feel safe. I asked the front desk to accommodate us because I didn’t feel comfortable or safe and she didn’t believe me so she walked up to the room with me saw what I described and told me to put the curtains over it so nobody could see in. Funny because there is no curtains in the room. In the living room/kitchen area they put a FAN. So that room was always about 75-80 degrees.
