Don’t blink, you’ll miss the entrance! Lol. It’s a small cute spot right off hwy. Even the pool in the front is small and cute (3ft-6ft). Though it was 67 degrees, the kids wanted to jump in. There were really nice succulents and plants grown around the pool. I got some nice pictures. The clerk at the front was nice and check in was a breeze. Upon entrance, I could smell the cleaning chemical. Not a bad thing and not too strong, the scent eventually went away. I didn’t mind it because it told me the room had been cleaned. The room looked neat and tidy. We stayed in “The 17 Mile drive” room with 2 queen beds. FYI, there is a hanging tag in the restroom that asks for guests to please hang and reuse towels if possible, and to please turn off all lights and unplug electrical things before leaving. Good note, but not very visible for a message that asks for guests to help on. I had to take it off the handle to read it. Most people may just ignore the tag.

There was a cute little outdoor lounging area/patio with cushion seating, a couple of pub like tables, chairs, and even long table for gathering, lights strung around and it lit up at night. We didn’t take advantage of that area, but it was also the designated smoking area. I had kids and I also do not smoke. Perhaps, the one thing I say is maybe the facility should consider another designated area for smoking. I saw a spot right at the entrance, to the right of the office that’s fenced in. Maybe use that as the designated area for smoking so that families with children can enjoy the lounge area without smoke or the lingering smell of tobacco. Also, although the room smelled clean upon entering, while walking barefoot and even with socks on, my soles got dirty. Not sure if the room is just vacuumed or also mopped. It was quiet from check in to check out. Just the occasional noise of top and side rooms, when showering and flushing which could have caused some irritation or sleepiness but we only stayed 1 night so it was not a big problem.

All staff, especially front desk reception, were very friendly and helpful. They gave us an upgraded room since we were celebrating a milestone anniversary. The AC in the room worked well and wasn't noisy. Room was comfy and clean. Furniture was in good condition, shower water pressure was good. I liked that they had extra blankets that are on the thinner side in the closet. Hotel duvets are too thick. The location was convenient and close to restaurants and shops

No Breakfast, area was present but only a juice dispenser was active. Inference seen - Denny Restaurant trifolds left all over the lobby end tables instead. Elevator floor was extremely filthy, smell of wet animal Hallway carpet was extremely soiled , peeling from wall and walls had wallpaper damage with sports of possible water damage. Entry lock was missing exterior top enclosure cap., White construction dust in most room entry thresholds Air exchanger unit power cord appears to have been improperly patched and is exposed to guest view Based on exterior entryway, and variety of damages patchesd and improperly patched , we could only presume the location struggles to keep up with guest created chaos and damage resulting in overall reduced property condition. We were made aware on arrival that cash ONLY retainer was required to complete check-in and would be refunding in AM provided the stay incurred no incidents or issues. (no this was not allowed to be held by Charge plate) We committed to the stay based on proximity to our planned activities the following day. However As we wont be holding a hotel party , or trying to sneak a prom or college event group into a room at any future date we will be skipping this property in the future and we felt the Property Management might need supporting facility operations training in order to conform to Wyndham standards or expectation guidelines, or Maybe they are following expectations that are lower than we expected. Be aware Old Cork St. on north side next to Arby's is proper entry, the south side Old Cork St is a Dilapidated improper entry.

Our room was very cold (60-65 degrees) and the thermostat control didn’t work to adjust the temperature. The hotel staff went to trouble shoot it and just told us that it was regulated with the other rooms so there wasn’t much they could do to help warm up the room. The hotel itself is old looking and worn down.

Self Park is so confusing! It’s located on B3 level of Cosmopolitan parking lot. The sign to enter Jockey Club from the strip is tiny compared to other hotel signs. Reception is also pretty hidden and the elevators to Jockey Club from inside Cosmopolitan hotel is also pretty hidden. It’d be nice if signs inside the Cosmopolitan said “Jockey Club” Bed pillows were too firm and the King bed on room 284 is old and falling apart
