  I liked everything about this little property! The staff is friendly, hospitable, and helpful. They offer a lovely little continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. Parking is off site but secure- yes, it costs money, but you have to pay for parking in most areas of downtown SD and I like that it is a well-maintained and secure parking garage. This cozy, comfortable, and chic looking little hotel is in a PRIMO location and you will not want for lack of good food or local activities- you are literally surrounded by a staggering selection of epicurean delights. After you wear yourself out, get ready for a good night’s sleep because their mattresses and bedding are the perfect ending to a fun-filled day. In a sea of choices, this place was a steal.

  I miss the freshly prepared breakfast that you had years ago. The food was fair and set up convenient. This location served French toast instead of pancakes, I wasn't pleased with that. Some hot cereal options would be nice, grits and/or oatmeal.

  I was under the impression that the breakfast was included in the high price of the room. It wasn't. The bathroom in the room could have been nicer and the toilet seat should have be attached better.
