The cottage is quaint, and the area is quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was centrally located for touring the waterfalls. We had received recommendations for restaurants and they were close by.

The housekeeping crew could have done better sweeping under the beds. There was not a washer and dryer which would have been nice. They were not in the description so I wasn't expecting them, but when I saw the connections, I thought, wow that would have been awesome.

The hotel is new with no broken or damaged facilities I could see, a decent price and clean. We had a fridge/freezer in the room. Very pleasant staff. The hotel isn't right by a busy highway so it was nicely quiet.

The hotel and room floors have no carpet (so no cost for pets), this is okay, but there is not even an area rug between beds or in front of the vanity and the floor was cold. The lights by the bed are for ambience and not the greatest for reading if the person in the other bed wishes to sleep. There was no coffee maker in the room, only out in the foyer. I had to get under the vanity to turn on the hot water valve, but that may be because the hotel is so new. Can't figure out why the ceiling, on the first floor at least, is 12' high? With no accompanying ceiling fan it is harder to control temperature.

The bathroom and main bedroom were clean, the units size was great for two people, the staff were always super helpful. The balcony was big and offered a great spot to hang out and people-watch.

The bed creaked so loud you could barely sleep in it, the fridge has some weatherstripping issues going on, all of the furniture was a little run down, and the pull out couch was dirty (glass shards, mysterious brown stain on the sheet, dirt) when we tried to use it instead of the main bed. Everything seemed very lazily put together, no personal touches.

Still haven’t received the deposits back on two rooms ($100 total) they blame your bank and say you need to email them to release the funds. Our bank confirmed that the money has been taken out and only the hotel can refund it, but they don’t respond to emails.

We came in at night (930/10pm) with our 3 year old and 5 month old and after carrying the kids in we went back to the car to get our belongings from the parking garage and overnight they closed all doors to the parking so you had to walk a two city blocks around the corner and through the street entrance and down the ramp cars drive down and through the parking deck by foot to get your things. In total because front desk and valet said they could not allow better access to parking garage it took over 30 minutes to walk to obtain our bags. The bathroom light was a motion sensor light so all night long when I got up to feed a sleepy newborn the lights would come on in the bathroom FULL BLAST-- so so bright. No one wants full bathroom bright lights on when they wake up to pee or with a sleepy newborn in the middle of the night and then the newborn cries loudly. Bathroom lights should not be motion sensor, at least not from midnight-6am....it was way too bright and wouldnt turn off until well after you left the bathroom.

That we only stayed one night.

No documentation that you can only have one vehicle, they charge $40 for an extra vehicle to park in their parking lot. Paid in full prior to stay, had to have one night refunded. But then they made us pay almost $10 they said was an outstanding balance, which makes no sense if we paid in full prior to arrival and received a refund for one night. In total we paid almost $50 more for the single night stay that was above and beyond what we agreed to. Room only had ac in living room area, none in the bedroom so one room was freezing and the other was hot. Very tiny parking spaces every person was making comments about that, tow truck driver regularly visited the single night we stayed and took up a lot of the already tight parking lot. Because the parking is so small guests had to unload in the driveway portion of the parking lot which created chaos since other cars can't get around anyone offloading. Listing showed two beds and a sleeper sofa to accommodate multiple guests, however the sleeper sofa is only a old, thin seat cushion, hard to even comfortably sit on slipcover sofa. Each bed only had a single top sheet and a very thin scratchy top cover- I say cover because this was in no way an actual blanket, it had the texture of a curtain. Because this was the only bedding the person sleeping on the sofa had nothing.
