The interior was inspirational. I was in awe of the art work and artistry displayed throughout the home. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable.

The house was a little dusty. Almost all of the towels were left in the dryer (which I folded and put away). The stair spindles need to be screwed on. They were nailed in place with what appears to be finish nails. As a result, when they were held while traversing the stairs, two of them came away. We were able to put them back in their original position by tapping them back on, but this is a safety issue The outside trash can was full when we got there, so there was no room for additional trash disposal until after the trash was picked up, which means it was likely full for the next guest at the beginning of their stay. We requested a later check out to try to be sure we cleaned and washed towels, stripped the beds, washed dishes, swept, etc., but we were told that was "not available to you" (us). The 4pm check-in is too late to get settled in and enjoy the area, and the 10am check-out time is too early to enable packing, cleaning, laundry, and straightening as required/requested. In addition, when we went to our car before departing and attempted to go back inside to turn off lights (we'll before 10am), the entry code provided no longer worked. Also, the two chairs in the front room are really uncomfortable and unstable (really cute, great color, but really uncomfortable)

When we got to the room, there was sex lubricator left in the trash. It grossed me out. But my husband said not to call about it. So housekeeping should check rooms that have not been rented in awhile. We didn’t have any silverware, they did say that they were short on dishes. This sounded crazy to me, for an expensive hotel.

Bugs in the room, rough location, forced to change rooms to a worse room. Ended up getting refund at midnight and had to find another hotel.
