I enjoyed having the little efficiency apt. type room a lot, but the lack of parking was a bummer. With 3 vacant lots right there by the building you would think some sort of parking lot or space would be available. Using Lyft to go to Broadway is still a better choice than driving & their prices were great going there but they are higher coming back which isn't what I'm used to. But beyond that the Sounder was a great place to stay. We didn't actually see the staff be we did see cleaning carts so we knew they were there come check out time.

I didn't like the checkout app. When I went to use it I typed in that we'd be leaving at 11am but it decided to tell me that check was now at 10:30am the time I was filling it out it out at. And I didn't want to be charged for a late check out. I feel like the rushing caused me to throw a couple things away I meant to pack because I couldn't find them at my next stop in Memphis & was rather upset about losing at least one of them & having to go shopping again.

The only good thing about the property was the location, it’s basically right on the beach.

The room was extremely dirty, there was bugs everywhere, from the kitchen area, bathroom, and on the beds. I have a video of bugs crawling on the bed I found as I was laying down, if I didn’t just drive 5 hours I would have turned around and went home, which I did do early and was told I wouldn’t receive any kind of refund when I asked about it. I thought from the reviews and the price and the pictures that are posted it was a great deal. It was far from a deal. Aside from the bugs the shower was dirty, there was hair like 3 different colors of hair on the bedding that was easily removed and the one blanket had white stuff all over it and didn’t even want to think about what that may be. If I could have got a refund I would have drove back home the first night when I found all the bugs.

Cutting my leg on the bed! Or having nasty dirty blood stained pillows. Tub had not been cleaned still had hair in it from last guest. People above us kept on jumping and stomping even after letting front desk know. Didn't get any sleep between that and the beds being hard as a rock!!!
