  We enjoyed the convenience to everything Ocean Drive. The short walks to restaurants and attractions made this place so appealing. They offer bicycle loaners and so much more like free water!. From the beginning the staff is very helpful and accommodating. They seem to work long hours and are always available and remember your name! The pool area is very cool, well managed and pleasant. This is a very secure place to stay as well. Kudos to this brand. Keep up the great work. There is a sister hotel located within a block as well. Pretty cool vibes. Housekeeping is spectacular as well.

  One of the draws to the property was the in house pizzeria. However, they don't open til 5pm and beyond, the prices are a bit steep as well. The lobby could be better lit at night. Walking to the elevator with children or alone can be a bit gloomy. We see the attempt for intimacy; but the area could double as internet cafe or something to make up for the lack of hours and unused bar. Another, is the lack of ability to warm up any food. The staff are accommodating at first for a few times if asked to assist with a microwave. After a while they understandably get perturbed with the request. I think they actually have to go somewhere else to use a microwave..its a weird set up. That can be improved. Overall, I can't wait to come back. Beds are comfortable, bring some air fresheners to battle the humidity in the rooms.

  Really enjoyed the continental breakfast, though there's always a line for the waffle makers and one was down. It's right in Chinatown just steps from Gallery Place and the Metro stop. Great location all around and proximity to transit and things to do. The staff was great. Really appreciated all the folks at the front and their friendliness.

  Hotel is in process of changing chain support. Slightly dated but very clean & comfortable. Staff was absolutely wonderful & still adhere to the old fashion thought of room service DAILY!!

  As I said, they are renovating (and as would be expected) there were a few inconveniences. We had some problems with the a/c, but were there within minutes of our call.

  Odor in room the entire stay of 3 days. I think it's from mildew in most grout around the tiles in the tub area. Also looks like the rerigerator leaked and the wood cabinet door enclosing the fridge is moldy. Took 4 calls and 5 hours to get a luggage rack delivered to the room. The room we selected via digital checkin was not ready/clean at 5:15pm when we arrived. We couldn't use our phonecas a digital key because of this and had to traipse to the front desk, wait in line, get assigned s different room etc.
