  I needed a place to stay convenient to the SFO car rental center and it's an easy 8 minute drive over there that is not subject to traffic problems. Room was reasonably comfortable and breakfast was well stocked.

  Dreary, almost sketchy-looking tiny parking lot. Could hear people walking around in the room above me until midnight. Also, I tried to contact the hotel to ask about their airport shuttle both through Booking.com and their own website and got no response to either.

  We love the private beach and the fact that every room has an unobstructed ocean view. This is our 4th time back and we don't see any reason to stay any where else. The location is perfect.

  The pool area needs some TLC. There were weeds in the patio and the chairs are very old and mine was broken.

  Location great from airport. Outside was nice and lobby area. Access to extra beverages and ice cream good. Staff were friendly.

  Sheets on both beds had others hair on them. Queen sheets on bed closest to door were stained. A few holes, not real large, but very noticeable in wall in front of the same bed. Carpet strips are peeling up and just generally dirty and stained. Only 3 towels for a room that sleeps 4! Hallway very stale, dingy with no air movement. Took it sometime, but a/c at least finally cooled room later on in the night. Just very shocked to be affiliated with Hilton to get this caliber of a room for one night!

  Nicely appointed hotel with a great location. Upon entering the lobby, expectations for a $325 per night room were met.

  I was never told I need to “inform the desk” IF I needed room service. So when I returned from a day trip after the first night, I was surprised to find the room unkept. When I called housekeeping/front desk, I was informed of the policy and asked if I needed anything, towels, etc. Nope, I ned the room cleaned, “that’s not available until tomorrow”. Unacceptable at this price. The first night of my stay I went down to get hot water for baby formula I was directed to the bar where I got the water. This in itself was a strange experience as the bartender said “it will take a while” and walked away. About 5 minutes later someone else walked over with the water, put it front of me and walked away (like this was a big effort for me to take their time for hot water). I left a $2 tip and walked away. The next night my wife went to the same bar and was CHARGED $1.50 for the same hot water. Are you kidding me? I’m being charged to heat water?? Finally, the hotel was obviously not at capacity but I’m pretty sure I received one of the worst rooms available. The view was… no view. Looking at a glass atrium.

  The room had a strong aroma of pee. Cigarette holes in the covers. Roaches. Tv didn’t work. So much patch work on the walls with no paint. Floors were scratched up like someone preformed and exorcist in there.
