Booked a smoking room and didn't get one, called, then next thing you know, room service is at my door, came straight into my room, stating they were told at didn't want the room. 2 minutes later like 5 security at the door saying the smoke alarm almost went off. Mind you, we had only been in the room like 10 minutes at this point. I invited them in so they could smell for themselves that we never smoked in there. They cleared us and left, it was just an uncomfortable situation and they lied as well, a smoke detector almost going off... suspicious.

Be woken up at 5:15 am due to a fire alarm going off and there was no fire. They seem to think that it was something related to in the attic. Still did not know when we checked out. We all had to leave our rooms. Not good when you want to sleep in.

No kitchen available so the staff was grilling in a makeshift kitchen outside, apparently for the last 6 months while they remodel the kitchen! That seems a little harsh for the kitchen staff to be in the elements for hours as well as the food that was exposed to road dust and bacteria. A bowl of shrimp was open on the table and the cheese was dried up from being outside or reused. Our room window was left open and when I went to slide it shut, it was sizeable and heavy, it was not on the track and my husband and I had to lift the 4x3 foot glass window and force it shut so we didn't have to listen to the road noise all night. I would not recommend this hotel and am very dissatisfied to end our vacation there!!

Refused to refund my double booking and then charged my card TWICE! Had to cancel my card to stop the fees. Property is ignoring me about the cancellation fee waiver even though my family stayed under a different booking. I tried calling to cancel before the deadline but the phone gave a busy signal each time I called. They checked me in before my family arrived even though I had requested a cancellation. Had to get a different room because the first one had the dishwasher fall on my brother’s head and nearly severely injured him. The closet door fell off the track when it was opened and wouldn’t stay hung if it was open. When we said something to the front desk (manager?) they acted like they knew all this! The only good thing was they gave my family a different room. Handicap door is broken making the whole facility inaccessible to handicapped guests. Breakfast is largely unattended and good luck getting enough batter to make a waffle! Also the front desk is hardly ever staffed during the day and when you call for assistance someone comes from upstairs as if they just woke up and/or with a child in their arms. Very unprofessional.
