  The cost and location were great. Most older properties don't do cleaning and maintenance. These folks do, so that's great.

  Since there was no TV and I would have had to pay extra for that, it might have been better not to pound on the room door for checkout at the very crack of 10:00 am. But I digress.

  There were plenty of towels and the bathroom was clean.

  The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The beds were uncomfortable and had springs poking into me. The room was always hot even on the coldest setting. The breakfast was absolutely garbage. There was cold cereal, toast, and eggo waffles. It was not at all a continental breakfast.

  The place is in a horrible location for noise. Right on freeway. The room although redone was still rundown. The outside was filthy and lots of people in and out of rooms with no belongings, I'm assuming hotel vouchers.. The owner or manager pounding on their doors to vacate in the morning...

  Very rude staff. The husband was always tipped off and very rude. Since check in he was telling us to behave and telling us what to do without even doing anything. On multiple occasions he would disrupt us and bother us for no reason.
