  The hotel was nice, clean, good size, and quiet. It had a good overall appearance. Everything worked well. I liked the TV channel options. The breakfast was pretty good, with a mix of hot and cold selections. Plenty of seating. Clean breakfast area. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Located right off the freeway. Near the airport, but rarely heard planes fly over. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Tip: Hapeville Pizza offers high quality ingredients and a tasty pizza. A little pricey but worth it.

  Diced potatoes were cold. The gated parking lot is a little tricky to get to, but it was fine.

  The location was a little sketchy as it was Downtown San Jose. The room was nice but could maybe use a few upgrades such as new shower curtains and blinds but overall it wasn’t bad at all. The customer service was beyond expectations. The woman at the front desk was super sweet and friendly. She ensured that my husband and I were informed about everything and informed us of every detail.

  The front desk lady who checked us in seemed inconvenienced that she had to check us in. Gave us the run down of where everything is, etc so fast and I asked her what was the last thing she said...she spoke again so fast I couldn't understand. I was too embarrassed to ask again so I could know where the pool was. And didn't know about using key card to use elevators because she spoke so fast I missed that too! Very clean but staff seemed overworked/irritated.

  The bedding was not clean. There were hairs everywhere on the bedding, sheets, pillow. There was hair in the bathtub. Don't think they vacuumed either as there was also crumbs on the floor. The water from the shower also smelt like sewage or gasoline. The front counter staff was nice. The cleaning manager was nice and camento imspect the room for the errors. The cleaning staff employee however was not nice even though it was their fault not cleaning properly.

  The owner is super nice but its obvious this place has tried to cut cost by skimping on basics and necessities. For $250 a night you expect to have coffee cups that don't leak because they are so cheap and you expect black out curtains. This place has the front doors with a windows and a window in the bathroom and its bright enough to keep it lite up at night like Fort Knox because the owner has put a white shade over it. The room seriously looks like daytime at night. I woke up several time throughout the night because of how bright the room is. The photos I added were of the room at 3 am when I woke up just pissed off from exhaustion from not sleeping well due to all the light. The view is beautiful but Id rather just stay somewhere else where Im more comfy with a breakfast and skip the view at the price point of this hotel.
