This was just what I needed. Very comfortable room, pleasing to the eye, immaculate, and right near where I needed to be. The staff was friendly and always helpful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I hesitate to say this because I was truly happy at the hotel. But maybe the hotel will read this and look into it. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very weak and could be improved.

Location was terrific. Historic lobby & elevator finishes were great. Loved the rooftop bar and the restaurant food was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.. Valet parking was very slow.....

View from the hotel room was not very good. Way too much tech in the room....and basics that did not work at all. Examples, the tub drain plug did not work. I had to physically screw it down for my wife to take a bath, then unscrew it to take a shower (really?). Second, the makeup mirror did not put enough light for her to make it useful. I found the multiple i-phone like touch pads for the lights (1 touch to turn on control, another touch to choose your light option (4 choices) another touch for the privacy shades, another touch for the curtains, then, even more touch pads in the bathroom, for the lights (again multiple steps), then another for the tub/ shower, then another for the toilet, then more options on the bathroom mirror? Come on!! Just because the tech is cool, that does not mean it works easily for the guests. I've stayed in and developed 4 & 5 star hotels (Ritz, Four Seasons, etc) all over the country for over 25 years now. The massive amount of tech in this room, when the basics did not work, left a bad taste for us. Wont stay there again.

Tiny Pool was greenish with trash floating on the surface. Small roach-like bug in the bedroom. People in other units hanging out outdoors were crass in their language.
