The shower curtain rod was falling off the walls so the curtain wouldn’t stay shut, shower head was not easy to figure out, the water was lukewarm, the bathroom door wouldn’t latch, lights were very dim, blankets were thin so I took the blanket off my family member’s bed so I could be warm, the area of our room was very old and looked rundown.

The customer service, shuttle service, improper reservations, multiple deposits taken, and the food was subpar. Upon arriving at LAX, I contacted the hotel to inquire about the shuttle's arrival and learned through the automated message that the shuttle is on a 30 min loop and where to go to meet it. After waiting nearly 2 hours with repeat calls to the hotel, the shuttle finally arrived. With the repeated calls to the hotel, first call: put on hold for 10 mins, then disconnected, second call: I was put on hold, then immediately disconnected, calls 3-10: all routed directly to the reservations line where they were unable to assist with contacting the hotel directly (calls were re-routed to the reservations line) to inquire about the shuttle. The reservations agent were equally unhelpful and rude as they seemed to only want to help secure a reservation, which I already had. Once the shuttle arrived, I boarded and went directly to adjacent hotel, Holiday Inn, and was told to disembark and walk over to the La Quinta as this was his only stop. He loaded my bags off and I walked over to the hotel but saw him parked directly in front of the hotel, assisting others onto the shuttle. I was so confused. I walked into the lobby and went to the front desk to speak with the agent. I recognized her voice and proceeded to her what I had experienced. She responded very rudely and dismissed my concerns. She was entirely unhelpful and rude the remaining time I was a guest. I inquired about the deposit my friend paid upon checking in (this was a business trip and I paid with the business account, there was no deposit needed), she declined to assist with this request for more information and suggested I contact the reservations line. I felt lost and requested to speak with the manager and was told she was not available. The facility was experiencing many issues with the 3 elevators, and there was no notice or information given during the stay about it...
