      The staff is out of this world. The owner actually stays on property and is one of the coolest people I’ve ever met in my life and he will take very good care of you and make sure you have a very good stay and get everything that you need plus some.

      Rooms were typical Hampton quality and comfortable. Staff was excellent and the breakfast was wonderful, lots of great hot and cold choices.

      Specifically requested a quiet room, multiple times. Was placed on the top floor, which is quieter than lower floors normally, but was put at the side and end of building closest to Interstate 8. The traffic noise was really horrible and made sleeping only doable in the wee hours when traffic noise was minimized. Very glad we were only there one night. If you are a light sleeper and noise bothers you, don't stay here.

      The front desk staff was lovely and professional.

      The hotel itself was dingy and musty. The room had a constant damp feeling. There were doors open to places that shouldn't have been. (The server room on the 2nd floor.) The pool had algae along the edges and was just nasty. I would not let my children swim. It felt as though they had tried to update with just new furniture but the carpet, walls were really dingy. We ended up leaving early.
