We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was ideal—just a short walk to restaurants and major attractions, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful and relaxing. The hotel was beautifully maintained, very clean, and had a luxurious feel throughout. The rooms were on the smaller side but thoughtfully designed and still very comfortable. Despite the compact space, everything felt cozy and well-appointed. A perfect blend of convenience, tranquility, and quality. Highly recommended!

Being in downtown Chicago, valet parking was our only option, which made accessing our car a bit inconvenient and added to the cost. That said, it’s understandable given the area, and it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A great choice if you're looking for a stylish, well-located place to stay in the city!

This property is so cute. It's small but has a lot to offer. The rooms are a decent size with large, comfy, king-sized beds, big TV, and a clean bathroom. The rooms are well-stocked, too, with shampoo/conditioner/lotion/TP/towels. There's also a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. The pool is also quite lovely.

I enjoy the donuts and hot coffee in the lobby, but I wish they offered a full hot breakfast, perhaps in the guest lounge. The gym could use a bit of a makeover and be updated, as well as the laundry, which is coin operated. Tap to pay on those machines would be very helpful.

Brenda and the other receptionists are always knowledgeable and helpful. I get off work late in the evening (10pm-11pm) and there was always a receptionist at the front desk monitoring the cameras, so I was grateful for the safety.

The entire hallway and my room still smelled like weed. Guess there's no controlling that. When I first entered my room, there was still some pieces of food on the floor, but at least the microwave was working this time. One of the face cloths smelled heavily of cologne and the blanket had some blonde hair.

Location , Location, Location. Chase bank is conveniently close. I walked 5 minutes max then was able to handle business. San Marino guest house is also still beautiful inside and out and is well maintained.

To start off i didn’t know i had to pay a 100$ deposit for the room it wasn’t stated on the website. I still paid it none the less ( i haven’t gotten it back it’s been 3 days but we’ll get to that later here ) , so upon going into my room with my spouse the first thing we always check is the sheets in ANY hotel we go to.. when i say the sheets was absolutely FILTHY! Like i was absolutely shocked?? I’m like did they literally just put the covers back and didn’t even bother to lift them and check them ? So we go to the other bed it’s literally MOLD ON THR SHEETS!! MOLD !! So my souse said it’s NO way i can sleep in this filth. I just paid 400$! 400$! I know that’s not a lot to yall but cmon! So they did try to offer another room but me working in the hotel industry i know that it’s typically 1-3 housekeepers on the clock which means if one room looks like this your taking a gamble on another room. So i requested a refund but since i booked through a 3rd party i couldn’t get my money or my refund back for a week. So i had to use a credit card and pay 600$ for the nearest next decent cheap hotel because i thought best western was the optimal choice. And as of right now I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN MY 100$ deposit back !! Worst hotel experience of my life i ran my credit card up 1000$! When i should’ve only paid 400$ to stay at best western !

Rented handicap unit and bar by toilet wasn’t mounted to beam and it came out of wall, checkout staff said it had happened at another unit and would address for correction. It wasn’t our fault and he said deposit would be refunded back to me which still hasn’t happened and I’m looking for my $75.00 refund deposit??
