My friend and I stayed in Cabin 7. I've been to many hostels in many states and found this one to be just fine---I didn't expect much more than what was provided. The Manager and caretaker were as cordial as any Hotelier, and the LOCATION, the LOCATION, and the LOCATION exceeded my expectations. I remember when a bunk-bed in a 6-bed 'dorm'/bedroom cost $15.00 per night and a private room for two was $30.00 (=in Waipouli, on Kauai, fully restored and re-painted, etc., a few months after Hurricane Iniki)

An archway from a small alcove, now used for two bunk-beds accomodating four people,, opening to the living-room/dining area, was left completely open. Similarly, the one-bunkbed room where my friend and I stayed had the door removed off its hinges. ---Since there was a mix of males and females, it woud have been nice to have foldable doors, bamboo blinds, or even a shower curtain (or two) installed in each OPENING to create a feeling of privacy when changing clothes late at night or in the morning...The cabins are SMALL. Buy HECK...It's a HOSTEL!!! I'm coming back, for sure!

Well its not the hotels fault but on booking.com they offered a room with a spa bath. When we arrived there was no spa bath and the lady working said none of the rooms had that feature. We paid double for the spa bath compared to the rest of the rooms. So nothing bad on the hotel. It just bites i have to jump through hoops to get try getting a refund from booking.com since the hotel cant do it even though i paid directly at the hotel, walked in the room that was falsely advertised then left

The part where booking.com falsely advertised a room the hotel did not have and when i paid at the property they couldnt refund me since i booked through booking.com. I dont understand that since i didnt pay booking.com i paid the hotel. So thats not a good situation but i dont know how booking through third parties work exactly

We were reserved as JOSEPHBEV rather than Beverly Moore by Booking com but they sorted it out. I reserved a room well in advance WITH a pet, but neglected to reserve a pet friendly room and they were filled on the first floor. They gave us a room on the second floor, but there was no elevator and we are handicapped. My husband went to breakfast around 830 and there was hardly anything left. The attendant started putting stuff away before 9 and clearly did not want to be there.

Not enough parking. First two rooms they put us in were dirty. We were upgraded to a 2 bd 2ba room and then was charged an “upgrade fee “ instead of just letting us keep that room for our troubles at the original rate or we would have been relocated to another room the following day. We were there for the High School State Track Meet. The gentleman that checked us in was very rude about the issues with the other rooms. Day manager was pleasant and took only $60 off the bill when I was charged an additional $120 + tax. Overall, not a good experience.
