  Location was very convenient for the Triathlon at Lum's Pond. It was in a quiet neighborhood and peaceful throughout the night. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The room had everything I needed including a desk and closet space. I had one of the rooms that shared a bathroom, but this was not a problem at all. Nobody monopolized the bathroom and it was always clean. Parking was sufficient for all the guests, even with all rooms occupied. The grounds looked very nice, though I did not have time to enjoy them.

  Staffs are very unprofessional. They are just standing at the front desk not even recognizing their customers. Dress so very casual not presentable. They need to be trained how to give a good survive to the customers.

  There wasn't truly a breakfast. A rack of muffins is pretty much it and if you're late(10am) there's nothing left. The dining area is very small, don't expect to sit down and eat.

  If the breakfast had more options and was stocked up it would've been fairly decent of a stay. However there were big issues with the rooms. There was mold on the lamp shades and cigarette holes all in the blankets of our no smoking room. There was no soap in our first room, which turned out to be a room with a bad key. The man at the desk was very proactive and extremely helpful with giving us a new room.

  Hotel is very basic. No restaurant. No bar. No room service. Pretty good location. Short walk to Red line subway. Easy walk to millennium park and Art Institute.

  TV in the room didn’t work. It took the front desk several hours to come check it out; then they just said they couldn’t fix it and left. I had no TV to watch for two days and they didn’t offer to move me to a new room or discount the room.
