  Coffee bar downstairs was awesome. Easy access to Canal Street and French Quarter but far enough away to get sleep when needed. Parking garage right across the street was super covenient.

  The room was located just a few meters from the extremely noisy highway,easily 100 DB. Door or windows were not in any way soundproof, I could not sleep at all during my stay even with earplugs ! Two sleepless nights ! I think it should be illegal to offer such rooms in such proximity to highway without soundproofing. Especially since I was not notified that this room will be so unbearably loud when I booked with a pre payment ! There was no chance to change room ,the staff kept repeating everything is booked already. There were also children running around and screaming all day just outside my room ,which,together with the highway noise,would easily make one go crazy. Staff didn't do anything to keep the motel peaceful for all guests. Basically I felt like my room was in a kindergarten on a highway ! The worst hotel stay in my life. Besides there were times ,especially in the evening and morning when there was no hot water,probably when everyone else was taking a shower 🤣 The room was supposedly for four persons but was the smallest I ever saw for its kind. We were three people and could not find any space anywhere ,even on the floor to open our suitcases.. Also one of the beds was too small for four two people.
