The Rittenhouse hotel is a first rate memorable experience. The location is prime, the rooms are well designed with beautiful furnishings, well stocked with every convenience, a table for two for in room dining overlooking beautiful park views, plus a large desk and comfortable office chair also situated in front of a window with great views, the bathrooms have large full bathtubs plus a full shower with ample towels, and comfy white robes in a lighted closet with adjacent vanity, if we didn’t have a family occasion to attend while there we never would have left the room, the beds are so comfortable, the staff are very attentive and display a sense of courtesy I thought had not existed anymore, they went out of their way to be helpful from the front door men to the front desk staff to the concierge and everyone in between. A+++

I liked that the location was central to a lot of things in Kanab, like grocery stores and restaurants, and that it was only a 10-15 minute drive to the Best Friends sanctuary.

I was put in a room in the back of the hotel, which looked like it was meant for people actually living there. It was a trailer home sectioned off into 4 rooms and stucco on all but the backside. This is how I knew it was a trailer. The room wasn't clean, the walls had what looked like dried coffee or soda on them. The blinds were broken, and there was mold above the window. The flooring was sunken in at the door going into the room. To adjust the volume on the TV, I had to use the volume buttons on the TV because the ones on the remote didn't work. My dog and I were bit by something. It looked like spider bites on both. I didn't stay the full 8 nights, I stayed 4 nights and refunded for 3 nights. I didn't ask for a refund for the $20 nightly dog rate, but I should have. I get that this hotel has economy rates, but if it's going to put people in the back, they need to update the rooms because it looked nothing like the pictures online. I had to cut my trip short because I'm allergic to mold and didn't want to risk it.

Lovely rooms with large covered patios, nice pool and hot tub. Lani the host is very welcoming with a fruit tray and fresh baked banana bread or muffins for breakfast.

I reserved a King room and was given a room with two queens. The hotel said they reserve the right to place guests in any room. 1) A king room was more expensive than two queens when I booked. 2) What is the point of reserving?

Our food order was wrong two days in a row, after calling regarding missing items and being told it would be delivered to the room, no one ever showed up. We had to request a refund in person both times. Our reservation not found, made us prove it; put a 450 hold on husbands card then attempted to charge over 1,616, causing bank to flag and freeze card, leaving us hours on phone and a mess. I felt profiled.
