  I like how it's conveniently located to where we wanted to be in the area. The bed's comfortable and the pillows were good! On weekends they serve Biscuit and Gravy and that's one of the reasons we chose to stay as well (base from the review we read!).

  When we entered the room, it has a certain smell that turned me off. I can't pinpoint the smell but it's like a wet dog smell. I am not sure if the room is a pet friendly room. If it is, then they definitely need to do a better job cleaning it to remove the smell😬

  Crystal at the front desk was fantastic, and the location is great, but these are the ONLY good things to be said about this "hotel".

  We were initially assigned a room on the 2nd floor, but the smell of chemicals and mold were so overpowering we immediately went downstairs to switch rooms. The new room was on the 1st floor and still smelled of chemicals and mold but was significantly less overpowering than the first room. Still, the room was absolutely filthy. There was gunk and hair on the hair dryer. The light switches were grimy. The walls and floors were filthy, Especially the floors! The floors were shockingly dirty and sticky. The fridge was leaking, and we even spotted a roach (luckily just one) walking across the floor. When I woke up in the morning, I personally had a rash. Apparently, they use Tide, which can irritate my skin, but this is the first time I have ever experienced this in over 25+ years staying in a variety of hotels and Airbnb's. The beds were also incredibly uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat. It would not surprise me to find out that they didn't change the linens between guests. They didn't feel or look fresh. The only reason we stayed the first night is because we were tired from travelling and had plans for early the next morning. We checked out the next day and found a lovely Airbnb for less than what we paid for this absolute nightmare of a hotel. **Booking.com tried to tell me that they couldn't issue me a refund because they couldn't reach the hotel. I called the Red Roof Inn Corporate Office who told me that they issued a refund to Booking.com the same day we checked out. Still waiting to receive my refund.
