  I really liked it location and situation, laid out across the hillside in San Rafael. The rooms at first glance were small, but that was all we needed. I loved the bathroom. Bed comfortable. Price extremely reasonable. Location I repeat was good. We drive three hours to get to the city and this place gave us a nice waystation to hang out at and get into San Francisco less than an hour on the following day. That really worked for us.

  Not much that we didn’t like. The shower pressure was just a bit light. But I got wet and I got clean. Morning Coffee/ Danish was OK. I am nitpicking here. We really like the place. And will try to stay again as my medical needs in San Francisco continue.

  The location is great. It is just far enough off the main street. We got a room with a mountain view. You can't see all of Mt Rushmore but it's worth getting a mountain view room so you can enjoy the private balcony not looking at the parking lot! The staff was exceptionally friendly. We ate dinner in the Pub on the property. The food was delicious!

  Only one thing we wished was different. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom. No need to elaborate.

  Incredible view of the lake! We liked that it was set up like a little apartment too, a couch, table, kitchen area and then a bedroom with 2 beds. Great for families, so the parents don’t need to go to bed the same time their kids do 😊

  The breakfast was ok. Nothing fancy, but it was enough to fill the belly. I wish they had flavored creamers for the coffee and an egg option other than hard boiled. But overall, it was good.

  The motel was very well maintained and had very scenic surrounding. It was clean and comfortable. It had a refrigerator and microwave but did not have a coffee maker but we travel with instant coffee so we can always make do.

  Easy to get to and decent parking.

  The staff was pretty rude, the rate of an early check in was charged to each person instead of just per room, no fridge was a huge downfall as we traveled 1000 miles with food we had to make sure stayed on ice. There weren't enough towels in the room either.
