Beth helped guide us by phone to the hotel. Shire at Meredith Lodging call center was very kind, courteous and listened to my complaint patiently-but she could do nothing to help - except to say, "I am very sorry" She was the only contact that seemed to care. The unit was clean but needs to be updated from the 90s, shows wear. But the area is quiet

I made reservations via Booking.com. In the confirmation (after I paid) lists a kitchen under APARTMENT description. Based on this I planned a special 60th anniversary dinner that required a kitchen. When we arrived - no kitchen. I called Meredith Lodging call center & talked to Shire at length - she patiently and courteously listened to my issue. She contacted management and got NO help. Finally, I asked to switch to a unit with a kitchen & offered to pay the difference. She spoke to management and they would not move us. They told me to contact Booking with my complaints. They told Shiree I misread the description but I was relying on the confirmation printout. Then at 5 pm management left for the day. Our options were 1) to stay or 2) leave and lose $187. We were very tired so we stayed - then the microwave would not work. Maintenance had left for the day, so they said they would note the issue. Again, no help. Then the large privacy shade malfunctioned, and I called the front desk-Sean answered the phone & he came and pulled the shade down by hand inch by inch. Part of the expense of this room was a $65 cleaning fee. But they wanted us to strip the bed, collect the linens, empty the trash - when I asked the front desk at check out -why this was expected they said "as a courtesy"-it was up to us. The receptionist then said the room is like an airbnb with cleanup fee. But also a HOTEL ROOM - no kitchen. (We have never paid a clean up fee at a hotel.) Resort is hard to find without GPS, (we dont have). Did not use resort facilities. Check out is 10AM, not 11am. The real shame-we were also scouting for facilities for a future family gathering and it will NOT be here or Meredith Lodgings. I did not have Booking.com info with me, but will call them.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was appreciated. I do not eat added sugar so I was happy to find plain oatmeal, raw walnuts, fresh fruit and raisins for breakfast.

The day we arrived the jacuzzi was "closed" and the next day when checking out we found that the elevator was broken.

Everything was super clean plus it had fast WiFi and a smart tv. The suite was also very private and quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable. The lighting was perfect both natural and artificial.

The air conditioner is on a motion detector when you enter the room. It does not run when you are not in the room. So if you are gone all day it takes about 2 hours to cool the room off.
