This is a great spot. A small, but clean and quiet private condo right in Buckdown, about 15 min walk from the blue line. The area is safe and there are tons of bars and restaurants nearby. The host was exceptionally nice, easily reachable and checked in on us regularly. He kindly accommodated our needs on short notice which dramatically improved our trip home. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

The pillows are quite old and seem to have lost most of their stuffing so we did have trouble sleeping.

The hotel is easily walkable to Kailua-Kona town. The ocean can be seen from some rooms. The decor and pool are comfortable and relaxed. The room was clean but the bathroom clearly old construction and small but renovated and clean. The bed was comfortable with good thread count sheets.

The walls are thin, if loud parties are around you, you will hear them. It’s a renovated/refaced old hotel so the corridors are dark and small. The elevator is small and slow.

The location is great for walking safely to so many great restaurants, scenic areas and activities. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is specious and clean. Love that the parking is included and easy to access. Front desk attendent was very kind and accommodating.

Their is definitely room for some updates. Bed, decor, maybe a mini fridge in the rooms would be nice.

We would have liked to have control of the AC in our room. We like it COLD at night. We did open the window for some cool night air. Would have appreciated screens in the window but bugs did not seem to come in.

The parking garage height is not accurate - its obscured by a pipe hanging several inches down - and we had booked this hotel partly because it had a secure parking garage. I was moving across country and measured the van height meticulously, but because of the pipe (and the height printed not accounting for it) the van got scraped and we had to find regular street parking.

Had to change rooms 3 times. Final room didn't lock properly from inside, but they had nowhere else to move us to. 1st room had no lights. 2nd was flooding from the toilet. Skipped cleaning the room at least once. Workers acted like we were pests that they were doing a favor for instead of paying customers. Will not only not recommend, but will actively discourage friends and family from booking here.

I do not understand why the heading of your listing for this property is listed as BRAND NEW??? What? This home, while nice in some aspects is dilapidated and in great need of many repairs and updates. Here are the items that need repaired or replaced: the upstairs bedrooms both have awful large stains on the carpets, the basketball hoop in the game room is broken and inoperable, the grill's handle is broken and there is only one burner that works which created us to grill for an hour to finish all grilling, several broken chairs at the fire pit, the steps to the pool are broken and dangerously slippery and one of us fell backwards, and the refrigerator drawer was broken which created an issue for storing our groceries. There was no cleaner left in the house available to clean the counters and one dirty rag. NO one came to clean the pool or the hot tub the entire week were there. The pool baskets and nets were broken and also inoperable or we would cleaned it ourselves. Lastly, the cooking utensils were far and few between especially the spatula that I complained about previously. Somewhere in your literature you should tell people NOT to lock the door handle on the front door. We did as we were unaware this would lock us out. It took three hours for you guys to figure out there was NO key to allow us to get in the house. We were instructed to use a credit card to jimmy the door open which allowed us to finally get in.
