Excellent wifi, no fussing with an esoteric password or anything. Walkable to Whole Foods and within 5 minutes of an HEB. Easy to hop on MoPac and get downtown in 15-20 minutes. Kind folks at the front desk. Comfy beds.

The separating room door was weird and made me a bit anxious; luckily, no one was staying there until my last night, and they were quiet. I didn't like the fact that I had to ask someone at the front desk to access to gym. It's more common to use the room key for access. Not a huge deal, just seemed unnecessary.

Good location. Lobby was nice and appears clean but it went down hill when I exited the lobby into the hotel.

The first room had parts of the metal frame sticking out done the side of the bed. I have attached a picture if you’d like to see. I asked for a room chance because I didn’t want to cut myself getting in and out of bed. I was reluctantly changed to a different room. The room I was changed to had some type of greasy film on the floor in front of the bathroom. The curtain and doorway had some kind of splattered liquid on them and the water pressure in the shower trickled out. I usually stay at La Quintas and I am usually very satisfied but this experience was beyond disappointing.

My biggest issues was flying my disabled mom for Mother’s Day on her first flight here only to be bit up by bugs in our beds! I was moved to 2 rooms in regard's to this yet still on the same floor! I spoke quietly with the manager and housekeeping staff on the first day and insisted on a room change! I thought that was the end; however, that was not the case! The very next day I wake up to these bugs again on my pillow and my husband’s pillow. At that point I was livid! I stormed to the front desk demanding answers showing photos and needing itchy cream! Needless to say they didn’t have any but I was given water bottles and wet napkins and burn cream. I’m so disappointed in the Hampton I literally have no words and I’ve yet to be refunded 3 days later!

Misinformation from staff re: weekly rates (was told “she would have to ask the GM”last week), $50 nonrefundable pet fee is ridiculous, not even the beautiful Sonesta ES on Regency in Cary has that…and then plus another $10/night for a tiny impeccably trained dog is too much IMO. Need more accuracy & clarification and leniency on policies for pets. Different info based on whom I spoke to each time. Frustrating.
