  We really enjoyed Grand Canyon Western Ranch. It was a peaceful, beautiful spot conveniently located for a visit to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon and the Joshua Tree forest nearby. The cabins were charming and comfortable. The people were very friendly and we had a nice meal at the restaurant. The highlight was music around the campfire in the evening. Casey is an excellent musician and host. It was a treat to see the buffalo on the property as well.

  There was an indoor and outdoor pool, the indoor pool was open 24 hours. We had a hot tub in our room that worked well. The floors are laminate vs carpet and that was nice. Conveniently located next to the BEST restaurant in the area (Domenico’s).

  You can tell it’s an older hotel that’s been remodeled/updated. The water pressure in the shower was less than and the commode made a lot of noise when flushed. It is a pet friendly place and you could smell the typical pet friendly odor in the common areas where there was still carpet.

  The historic feeling with the Presidential picture portfolio. Mostly clean and fresh. Room was very nice. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was acceptable.

  Next to a trailer park. Other hotel guests were too loud. Parking lot in the back was tired looking and had too many suspect vehicles.
