  I liked how every aspect of the hotel from the room 512 that we stayed in to the restaurant and bathrooms at the pool area were absolutely clean. Staff was professional. This place is the secret Gem in Virginia Beach. Personally, easier access to things and to get around then the Cavalier Hotel, or Hilton, and I have stayed at both. Wish my stay was a bit longer- but unfortunately had to go home. Hoping to be back soon once I get a bonus from work!

  1) in room 512 the A/C was a bit slow to kick on. 2) in room 512 the hotel telephone was not working. Couldn’t use it to call down front desk or room service. Had to use our personal cell phones. 3) elevators took WAY to long to wait for to get on. Timed them eventually. Waited 10 mins. We ended up taking stairs the entire rest of stay. 4) in room 512 we could hear the loud music from the pool. 5) the pancakes at breakfast were definitely not home made and not worth the $8/10 to pay for. Make real pancakes and charge that price.

  Lovely place tucked into trees in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean and spacious with a full kitchen and cook wear. Close to downtown with fun shops and restaurants. Check in was handled by text providing quick response and easy entry.

  Good are just a few minutes to Acadia NP or Bar Harbor. Mini golf right across the street. Mainly Meat BBQ and Udderly Heavan icecream a 2 minute walk away. Clean and quiet area.

  The location of the inn is perfect, beautiful surroundings in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff very welcoming and helpful.

  Of course this is an old home and I appreciate the charm in that. The bathroom however is not original and I would expect it to be in better condition.

  No elevator been out since April I took picture. I could not take suitcase up. Two wash rags had to go to front desk this morning at 4:30am to get get clean wash cloths. The person who registered me in need some customer service experience.
