  There was a water leak -- the carpet was wet by the bathroom door -- so I had to wear shoes at all times. Initially, there were no caffeinated coffee pods in the hotel -- I walked to Bloomingdales to by my own at the Nespresso store. I had to call housekeeping for coffee cups one day, then for coffee cups and other glassware the next day and they couldn't figure out what I needed. It seems like when a room is made up, there should be a checklist of all the items to stock. Paying approx. $20 each for the minibar "M&M's", cashews, and Jim Beam is outrageous! I know for an extra $120 per night I could have stayed on the Gold Floor, but this was already over $400 per night.

  When i arrived at the Hotel and was checking in, i overheard another customer asking the front desk when would the water be turned on for she had been waiting for over 2 hours. The front desk advised her that they were working on the leak but had no time frame of when it would be working. When the front desk was checking me in, they advised the facility had no water due to water leak across the road and did not have estimated time of when it would be fixed. I asked was the swimming pool open and was advised the pool was shut down due to no water and could not run the pump. I advised the front desk that we had family in and just completed long day at festival in Jacksonville Texas and the family had been sweating all day and was ready to take showers to get ready for dinner. With no water and no estimated time of when it would be back on, I told the front desk that I did not want to check in under these circumstances and would have to find another hotel to accomodate our needs. The front desk understood my concern but advised I booked the room through BOOKING.COM and I would have to contact them directly to receive refund. He advised if i had booked directly with the hotel, then they would have agreed to refund me due to NO water at the facility. I advised I appereciated it and would follow up with BOOKING which I did on the same day. I was advised by BOOKING rep, that they had to contact the property to verify the facility had no water during my check in process. I received an response 2 days later stating they did verify the faclilty had no water due to leak and that BOOKING apologized for this issue. BOOKING advised they were on MY SIDE but ONLY offered a $11.95 cent voucher for the issue. BOOKING rep advised If I had any other questions then i needed to contact the hotel directly. BOOKING charged the full amount of the room $79.00 the same day I reserved the room which was 1 week before check in. I feel that I should have received the FULL REFUND from BOOKING
