There. Were a few recreational activities that we wanted to do like the spa, canoing and other water activities that were advertised but not available. The heater in our bedroom did not work. We called maintenance but they never came to fix it! That was a bit annoying. Some staff were a little rude.

My privacy was violated and my business put at risk. Extremely upset that service workers came into my room without me there to work on the tv when I had the “do not disturb” sign on my door. I had very confidential client files in my room and a reason why I had the sign on my door. I do not allow anyone to come into my hotel rooms not even housekeeping. On top of that, they messed up the tv and only about 5 channels were working but those channels had a huge video/audio delay & not like the standard 3 second delay you get on your tv sometimes this was a good 1-2 minute delay for the entire week I stayed there made my nights trying to unwind before bed extremely annoying. I also always bring my own Roku stick as I hate live tv and once the workers did something to the tv, none of their extra hdmi ports worked when it worked fine when I first got there. When I addressed my concerns to the manager that someone came into my room without permission, there was not 1 apology given but an excuse that there are “always 2 workers that enter rooms at any time”. When I advised her that was still unacceptable especially with the sign on my door and that she risked my business and that no one is to enter my room without permission, she said she’ll notate my room but again not one apology. I had another week stay booked there for another business trip in a month and I quickly cancelled it. If anyone can come into my room at any time without my knowledge or permission, that is completely unacceptable and I don’t feel safe.
