A lot of the parking is not free in the larger towns in Malaysia apparently ..it is very cheap but you need to pay in the app) The location was walking distance to a lot of the sights we wanted to see and a plethora of amazing food, street markets, and shopping, it felt very safe, very quiet within the grounds, we always had the pool to ourselves when we were there to cool off midday. The room was great, perfectly decorated with a very comfortable bed and one of the best showers we had on our 4 month trip. The staff was very kind, always helpful and clearly put in a lot of work keeping the property maintained. Would stay again.”

  The Ponderosa was wonderful for my trip to RMNP. It's a few minutes from the Falls River entrance, though this is under construction and not the primary entrance, and maybe 10 minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance. It is close to town and along the river which was wonderful. I was traveling alone and felt very safe here throughout my stay which is always an important factor. Bonus- they have smart TVs to stream your favorite shows when you get back at night.

  If you need anything from the office, be sure to stop by during office hours, which end at 5pm. This can be a tad inconvenient, but likely the small group and limited hours keeps costs down. It will be more like a cabin, air bnb than a hotel.

  The refrigerator was locked up with ice. The coffee at breakfast was so weak it had no taste and I prefer weaker coffee to strong. There was no connection in the room for phone charger. I brought my cord but not the adapter, expecting to use one on the nightstand or lamp. Next time I’ll know to bring my own.

  Pool could use some cleaning, the door to our room DID NOT lock. You could just push the door open from the outside.. Went down to the front desk and was told nothing they can do. They suggested putting a chair against the door and it didn’t work because the way the handle was positioned. Was told that there isn’t much foot traffic so we SHOULD be fine. My two year old daughter was with us I was furious the way this was handled. The lady completely brushed us off. The following morning I followed up with it and was told there was other rooms available and that we should have been moved into another room. Situation was handled very poorly.

  Breakfast. The coffee machine was broken and there wasn't an alternative. There wasn't any hot water and no microwaveable cups to substitute tea. The apples were not fresh. It was a huge disappointment since we were headed to an athletic event.

  Booking has my profile set where pets are allowed and then offered me a place that did not accept pets. We got charged extra, they almost made us leave, but I had to make pets sleep in my truck. Not happy with the hotel or booking .com. someone needs to fix this.. the rooms smelled horrible and we had a bad experience.
