  the mattress is NASTY AND YELLOW ridiculous I had to get sleeping blankets to put on the beds. extra money I didn't have to spend. however I did take a video. they moved me then that room had a odor so strong it made me throw up and my husband and Daughters too. the night clerk couldn't even come in the room the odor was that strong. Mildew/mold something dead.wih the air on the odor was extra strong.

  cleanness for families spending their monies for these over priced room ridiculous and a muffin and tea is not Breakfast. I really would like a refund for all I encountered.

  Location and staff were excellent. They experienced some unexpected weather the week before our arrival but made unbelievable progress to get things back up and running. Little details in Coco B were very thoughtful like fresh flowers everywhere. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on in any hotel/inn/B&B style environment.

  Kauai is a very humid environment and it was difficult to get anything to dry. Not sure there is anything to be done about that but if there are local tips, it would be great to share them with guests. Otherwise, while it is no issue to go a week without housekeeping when you're staying in a more home style environment, it would be good to have a proactive way to remove damp towels that add up.

  Close to beach and had a really wonderful charm to it . Like old Hawaii charm . You could grab towels at the desk or a water flotation device or surf board outside the elevator area . It was close to absolutely everything and the staff were so very friendly and accommodating . Would stay again for sure !
