  The staff were very friendly, especially breakfast staff. Continental breakfast was average for a hotel stay. The kids and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable.

  Location was good, central and convenient. We could walk to a lot of places without driving. Room was large, bed was comfortable, bathroom was great, big, modern and clean.

  Air conditioning system was super noisy and created a huge amount of air flow, felt like sleeping on the train station. Room service was sad, we used our coffee/sugar/creamer on the first day and for next three days it was never loaded again. No filtered water in the lobby or by the bathroom. The hallways did not look clean, carpets are sadly outdated. Parking was just on the huge empty parking lot between the hotel and rental apartments, no protection, no security and extra $18/day plus taxes! The room keys stopped working on the second day and we had to go back to the front desk to re-activate an access, very inconvenient. When checking out they could not find our bill, could not tell us what are the additional charges, told us that the invoice would be sent via email. I have received an email with the paid by master card my bill (do not have a master card), for the total I paid to Booking.com and then saw an additional charge on Amex statement (never received an invoice) probably for parking.

  Staff was friendly and attentive. Had one small problem when we got to room and staff took care of it immediately.

  The only downfall was the breakfast. We originally planned to eat breakfast at the hotel every day but only ate there the first day out of our 4-day stay. There was no eggs, bacon or anything like that. Only waffles mainly. I did have a yogurt.

  Is was adequate for a continental breakfast. Evening bar staff was friendly but a tad slow with service.

  There was no latch on the bathroom door. It closed but did not lock or even close tightly. This was room 505 in the Carriage House. In addition there was but one chair for two occupants and no makeup mirror for my wife. Went to the front desk to get a mirror but was told all the rooms are occupied and therefore couldn’t retrieve one. Poor form.
