I reached out to Patrick, operations manager on April 15. He said he would look into the issues and get back to me. He has not gotten back to me. This hotel is billing itself as a swak 4 star. It is far from it! Got to the room and the TV would not turn on. Tried to call front desk about it and turns out the phone didnt work! As a woman travelling with my daughter this is a security issue. Feels very unsafe to be in a room with no way to contact the front desk... As for feeling unsafe, when we got to the room the light switch by the door did not work. Had to walk down a dark hallway in the room to get to the next switch. Turns out two switches have to both be on to get the one entry light to work. I have done home electrical wiring and I know what this mean: it was wired incorrectly! It's meant to be wired so both switches turn on the light from either location. Not that both must be on at once for it to work. So makes me wonder for my safety again that someone who couldnt do basic wiring was hired to do this work, what other electrical problems could there be? Went to lobby to get the phone fixed, staff came and said they had fixed it but it still didnt work for the rest of our stay. As for the tv it turned out to be the wrong remote left in the room and had to be switched out. Twice, in one day, I was locked out of the room, due to the swipe pad malfunctioning. The toilet was broken. Have to continuously hold the handle down while it flushes. The ceramic lid on the tank had a HUGE crack, 1/2 the side of the cover was broken off! How is it that the room was released for occupancy with a broken toilet. The sink leaks. It left a pool of water dripping out of the trap. When you turn it on you can hear it making a weird sound in the wall... I give the readiness of the room a zero. I spent too much of my time with maintenance at 10:30 at night to replace what should have been taken care of in the general day to day of operations.
