  In a world where 10 is reserved for Four Seasons, Fairmont, etc … this was a solid spot for San Francisco. Love the location at Chinatown/North Beach. Was a healthy walk from Oracle Park. Love the tight-squeeze free parking. Having had BAD stays in SF, this was fantastic. Thank you.

  A wonderful host and a cute little cabin in the backyard shaded by a large tree. Safe neighborhood, close to downtown. This would have been a 5 star review if not for the trains....

  There are train tracks within a few blocks east and west of the property and the freight trains run all night, honking loudly and incessantly at each street crossing which is pretty much all the way through Merced. Nothing the host can do about, but I got very little sleep that night. I loved the place, but since sleep is the main reason I book a room, I would not return.

  Decor was nice and colorful. I like the spanish style and the furniture and carpet in the room.

  The elevator did not work and we had a very heavy luggage to carry up the 23 stairs. The first thing I did when I went into the room was use the restroom. As I sat there I could see a soap and a wash rag left on the tub. As I looked down I could see possible urine spots on the floor. I went down to the front desk to tell them and they told me, "the new person proably didn't clean the bathroom very well". I was so grossed out. I booked last minute, so I knew I was not going to get a refund. We were given another room that was further from the stairs and smaller. The bed was okay. It only had sheets, but luckily I brought a blanket. There should be a reduced rate for no elevator. I was told the elevator had not been working for about a month.

  The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good. Parking was easy.

  Very run down and the room did not feel very clean. The AC unit did not work and the room felt stuffy all night. Starting around 5-6am there was a ton of loud banging that woke us all up and it continued for hours .. we barely slept. Would not stay here again, unfortunately, because we got horrible sleep. :(

  The cleanliness…our room was completely dirty and filthy. The staff, specifically bar tenders at the casino did not show the best customer service. We had to gamble, eat, and drink at different hotels because of the bad experience we received.

  Our room was clean and the window opened. Elevator worked.

  Breakfast was inadequate, even for a continental. By the time we got there, a weak coffee was still available, but not much else left. The outside door that was closest to our room didn’t work with our key.
