Many of the reviews for this motel are negative, but we thought it was just fine, especially considering the price when compared to others in the area. (One reviewer here actually complained that the bedsheets weren't changed daily. Seriously? At this price point?) It's true that the property is older and a bit chipped and dented. But the room was clean and in good working order, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice. During our stay the hotel was populated with families with young children enjoying the indoor pool and water slide. But everyone was polite and the place was quiet overnight. Breakfast was basic but decent, with make-it-youself waffles, steam table omelettes, cereal, juice, etc.

The room was extremely clean. I thought the bed was nice and comfortable. Liked the fridge space and loved that there was a freezer as well. The A/C worked extremely well, and I was able to easily sleep that night.

The walls were quite thin. I could hear conversations if I was quiet enough which gave me a bit of concern that my conversations could be heard by others. Just felt a lil less private than I would've preferred. The Lady that checked me in also had a bit of an attitude which left a sour taste in my mouth after driving 11 hours.

The staff is always very friendly when you arrive. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It is close to downtown Placerville as well as the many farms in the area.

The only 2 complaints I have about this place is water pressure and sheets. The toilet was the eco friendly but would either have to hold button down to flush or flush multiple times. The shower barely had enough water to wash body must less thick hair, took forever. The sheets would not stay on the corners so once roll over were knotted underneath you.

The facilities were very nice but our big room did not have air conditioning and was super uncomfortable and we were not told it did not have a/c before booking or arriving. The breakfast was very good. The staff was kind and attentive but not intrusive. The thing I would point out to the staff or owner is that the little greenhouse/potting room at the entrance of the establishment should be presented much better. The alcohol bottles and mess was a big detractraction to the otherwise lovely property. It should have had at least some flowers and garden utensils properly presented. It made us question at first if we had picked a good place to stay.
