This updated Motel .. What a great value! We booked online for a family gathering in Ogunquit, primarily for the price. Superb price for high season ! We had no expectations, although the photos looked good. Well, from the moment of our warm reception at check-in , we knew the Studio East was a rare find. The grounds were well-maintained, the buildings refreshed, the rooms updated, comfortable, and clean. There was an equipped kitchen for meals. The bed was comfortable, the sleep deep. Each room had a balcony/patio with a private table and chairs outside the room. We were located on the second floor, with ease of parking. Each staff member was polite and cheerful The location was incredible, located near the center of Ogunquit!! We were able to walk everywhere. The new heated salt water pool was incredible. Certainly, we will return for future stays!!!

We absolutely loved the views from this home. We enjoyed our time in the lake swimming. We made use of the swim mat, kayak, and paddle board. When we weren't in the lake we relaxed in either of the patio areas. The one to the side of house had a great table with plenty of seating. Underneath the house offered a little more privacy and had a couch as well as table. There was plenty of starter products such as trash bags, toilet paper, dish washer pods, laundry pods, as well as toiletries.

When we first arrived there was no coffee pot so I went down the road to the Dollar general and bought one. A coffee pot did arrive halfway through our stay. There was nowhere in the bathroom to hang our towels after we showered. There is no storage in the two Queen bedrooms. Would be nice to have something to hang clothes or put them away.

checking in was good. Food for breakfast was fine and room was clean. i DID not like the Booking sending us to the additional facility and found out it had many, many steps. I call the night before and was given a room at the main building which was more convenient for us as I have back issues. I thanked the lady who did this for us and appreciated it much.

Floor in our room needed to be vacuumed more as attention could have been paid to that. The bed needs to be updated as I am particular about beds.

Ice machine wasnt working ..so i had to keep goijg to another floor...the price for food verses what you get doesn't match... automatic gratuity and for someone who is staying for 3 days or more should receive a dining coupon. Theres so many places around that sells better quality and price... not really catering to those staying in the hotel! 1 meal cost me almost $40 at the end of my bill for 1 person!... I could litterally go to a restaurant and get a full meal for less... chicken tenders 4 of them no fries no sides $13.99 are you serious!!!

The room and bathroom were not clean had spots on walls, shower, toilet, smudges all around the door and windows. The air conditioner had a huge brown stain where the buttons were, the remote control was sticky. It was just in very poor condition. Nothing seemed to have been wiped down. The room smelled musty and moldy. I called immediately to complain about how unsanitary the room was and asked if they can send someone to spray air freshener and wipe down the areas that needed cleaning. The housekeeper manager came by and only apologized for the condition of the room and didn’t offer to relocate me or clean the room. She handed me a bottle of Lysol, Clorox Wipes, Air Freshener along with white rags to use. We were visiting USCS and doing a campus tour that morning so I didn’t think much of it. I assumed they would clean the room while we were gone. Nope that was not the case. I went to a Target near by and purchased more cleaning supplies for toilet and shower. I asked to speak to a manager and never once received a call from him. At checkout I requested to speak to him and the front office receptionist, Rosebud, said he was unavailable but will relay the message. It’s been a week and no one has contacted me! Also if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax this isnt for you. During the weekend they have live music and a bunch of drunk loud people congregate in the front of the hotel. This happened both nights we were there. The parking lot gets packed with visitors and youre forced to park in a different lot, which was a bit of a walk and inconvenience as we are guests of the hotel.
